The Vocation Ministry invites our parish community to grow in faith by deepening our understanding of God’s will for each of us. We are guided by the Eucharist, devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and the teachings of the Church.
Our mission is to help men and women in our parish hear and respond to God’s call—whether to the priesthood, religious life, sacramental marriage, or dedicated single life. At the heart of our work is prayer. As Jesus said, “The harvest is abundant, but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest” (Luke 10:2). We pray fervently for vocations to blossom within our community.
In addition to prayer, we organize events that raise awareness of vocations and inspire discernment. In our first year, we hosted the Blessing of Married Couples in February and a Get to Know Your Priests event with our Religious Education students and school children. We also held a beautiful Marian Procession last October and are planning another for this fall. Currently, we are running the Traveling Vocations Chalice Program, encouraging families to pray together for vocations at home.
If you feel called to support vocations in our parish, we invite you to begin by praying that hearts will be open to God’s call. Then, reach out to Fr. Peter Phan to learn more about how you can get involved and join us in this important ministry.
